STEP 2.In a mixer grinder add coconut pieces, 5 green chilies, 4 garlic pods, 1 tbsp of soaked chana dal curry leaves 2 springs, 30ml of water.
STEP 3.Grind the ingredients to form a fine paste and keep aside.
STEP 4.In a pan add 2tsp of oil, ½ tsp of mustard seeds, ½ tsp of cumin seeds and let splatter.
STEP 5.Then add 2 dry red chilies and 1 string of curry leaves.
STEP 6.Add this tempering in the grinded paste and serve with idli or dosa.
