Coconut chips are unique and innovative continental recipe which are a healthy change from the regular fried chips that are quite unhealthy. This snack recipe is made using coconut flakes that are tossed into spices and then break until crispy. Apart from naturally enhancing flavours coconut chips are a rich source of dietry fibres which keeps you fuller for longer and helps stabilise your blood sugar.

  • STEP 1.1 - separate the coconut from its shell and slice it.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 - transfer the sliced coconut into a baking tray.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 - soak the coconut slices in some salt water for an hour.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 - let them dry.

step 5

  • STEP 5.1 - bake the chips in an oven at 150 degree f for 1 ½ hour.
