Coconut bread made with coconut flakes, coconut oil and coconut milk. This recipe is very simple coconut milk based bread also a good place to start baking for the first time. The rest of the carribean involves fried bread except this recipe rather than baking it the carribean go the other way. You don't need any kind of big machinery to bake this recipe.

Ingredients for Coconut Bake Recipe

  • 2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon raw brown sugar
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 3/4 cup fresh coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Butter

Directions: Coconut Bake Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 - keep 1 cup of grated coconut in a bowl.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 - add warm water to the remaining coconut.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 - extract milk out of this.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 - add flour, salt, sugar, butter, baking powder and grated coconut in it.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 - gradually add coconut milk and knead a dough.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 - let the dough sit for 30 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 - grease a baking pan and press the dough in it.

step 8

  • STEP 8.1 - bake in a preheated oven at 300 degree f for 20-30 minutes.
