  • 1 cup beetroot/ Chukadar leaves
  • 1.50 nos Potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 1/2 nos Onion
  • 2 nos Garlic Cloves Finely Chopped
  • 1 nos Green chilies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • As required Pinch hing
  • 1/4 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • As required To taste salt
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil

Directions: Chukandar Leaves Aloo Fry/ Beetroot Leaves Aloo Fry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a skillet (kadhai).
  • STEP 2.Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds and hing and allow them to splutter.
  • STEP 3.Now add garlic,green chilli and onion and saute till the onions turn soft and translucent.
  • STEP 4.Now add potatoes and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add all the spices like- turmeric powder,red chilli powder, salt,coriander powder and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Now add beetroot leaves and salt. Stir. Mix well and close the lid. Cook till the beetroot leaves and aloo are almost done.
  • STEP 7.Open the lid,add garam masala. Turn off the heat and remove the sabji in a serving bowl.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with roti,paratha or daal and rice.
