Ingredients for Chow Mein Recipe

  • 250 gram Chicken
  • 2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 No.s Carrots
  • 1/4 cup Cabbage
  • 9 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions

Directions: Chow Mein Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a small bowl combine ingredients for chow mein sauce. Oyster sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth and cornstarch. Set aside.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Cook noodles according to package or boil normally.

step 3

  • STEP 3.1 heat a large wok or pan. Add a bit of oil and cook chicken until its golden brown.  remove chicken and set aside.

step 4

  • STEP 4.2 add carrots cabbage and pressed garlic and saute for a few minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 5.3 add chicken back to the pan followed by cooked noodles and pour the sauce on top.  cook for about 2 minutes. Add chopped green onions and remove from the heat. Serve fresh!
