  • 0.17 cup •boiled chickpeas
  • 0.17 nos • onion pure
  • 1/2 nos • tomato pure
  • 0.17 tbsp •ginger-garlic paste
  • 0.17 tsp •cumin seeds
  • 0.08 tbsp •chili powder
  • 0.17 tbsp •chole masala
  • 0.17 tbsp •chicken masala (veg) (optional)
  • As required •Salt to taste
  • As required •Fresh coriander for garnish
  • As required For Bhature (Taco Shells):
  • 0.17 cup •all-purpose flour
  • 0.08 tsp •baking powder
  • 0.08 tsp •baking soda
  • 1/25 tsp •salt
  • 1/25 cup •dahi
  • As required •Water as needed
  • As required •Oil for frying

Directions: Chole Bhature Tacos ♥️ Recipe

  • STEP 1.1.Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • STEP 2.2.Add pure of onions and ginger-garlic paste, and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.3.Add tomatoes, chili powder, chole masala, chicken masala(veg) and salt. Cook until the oil get separates.
  • STEP 4.4.Add boiled chickpeas and cook for 5-7 minutes, mashing slightly to blend. Garnish with fresh coriander.
  • STEP 5.1.In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • STEP 6.2.Add dahi and a little water to make a smooth dough. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 7.3.Roll small portions of the dough into thin rounds and fry in hot oil until they puff up and turn golden. Drain on paper towels.
  • STEP 8.4.Immediately shape each fried bhatura into a “taco” by gently folding while warm.
  • STEP 9.1.Place a spoonful of chole in each bhatura “taco shell.”
  • STEP 10.2.Top with dahi green chilly and ginger
