You can make this simple cake recipe by using ingredients like white oil, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, eggs, and baking powder. If you want to make it healthy, then you can replace sugar with sugar-free. You need not be an expert chef to nail this delectable dessert.

Ingredients for Chocolate pastry cake Recipe

  • As required To make cake sponge you will need:-
  • 0.19 cup Flour
  • 0.06 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 nos Egg
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 0.06 cup white oil
  • 0.06 cup Milk
  • As required To make the cake frosting you will need:-
  • 1/4 cup liquid whipped cream (chilled)
  • 1/4 cup grated dark chocolate
  • 0.06 cup liquid whipped cream (cold)
  • As required Star nozzles and piping bags
  • As required Chocolate ganache for decoration
  • As required and edible silver balls.

Directions: Chocolate Pastry Cake Recipe

  • STEP 1.First, to make the cake sponge, sieve flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together in a bowl.
  • STEP 2.Now in a big bowl, separate the yolk from the egg whites.
  • STEP 3.Beat the egg whites with the beater to make the meringue.
  • STEP 4.Add small portions of powdered sugar in the meringue and beat until it forms stiff peak.
  • STEP 5.After that, mix the egg yolk well with the beater.
  • STEP 6.Mix it well with vanilla essence and white oil.
  • STEP 7.Then add small portions of the sifted flour mixture in the meringue , using the cut and flow method.
  • STEP 8.Grease a 7" cake tin with butter and place a butter paper on it and pour the cake batter in it, tap it lightly.
  • STEP 9.Now preheat the microwave oven at 180 degree Celsius, convection mode, place the cake tin inside and bake for 25-35 minutes.
  • STEP 10.When the cake is ready, insert a toothpick in the cake and if it comes out clean the cake is ready.
  • STEP 11.If not, bake a little longer.
  • STEP 12.Now when the cake comes to room temperature,  demould it , round cut it into three layers.
  • STEP 13.For frosting, grate dark chocolate, add 1/4 cup of liquid whipped cream, heat in microwave oven for one to two minutes, mix well and make the chocolate ganache.
  • STEP 14.In a bowl, pour 1 cup of cold, liquid, whipped cream, beat with a hand beater until stiff peaks are formed.
  • STEP 15.In this whipped cream, mix half of the chocolate ganache to make chocolate whipped cream.
  • STEP 16.Pour the remaining chocolate ganache into a piping bag.
  • STEP 17.Now place a cake board on the turn table, put a little whipped cream on it, place the 1st layer of cake on it, apply chocolate ganache on it.
  • STEP 18.After that, apply chocolate whipped cream on it.
  • STEP 19.The remaining two layers should be made in the same way.
  • STEP 20.Spread chocolate whipped cream around the entire cake and refrigerate for some time.
  • STEP 21.After taking it out of the fridge, cut the mouth of the piping bag filled with chocolate ganache, turn it around the cake and make a beautiful design.
  • STEP 22.Fill the rest of the chocolate whipped cream into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and pipe a design of your choice on the cake.
  • STEP 23.After that, decorate the cake with chocolate ganache and edible silver balls, keep it in the fridge for a while, and serve it.
