Directions: Chocolate Mawa Barfi Recipe
STEP 1.In a pan take 1 cup Mawa, stir it for few minutes on low flame. When it becomes little thick add 3/4 cup Powdered sugar.
STEP 2.Mix the sugar properly, let it melt and continuously keep stirring for 3-4 mins.
STEP 3.By now mawa will become thick,After that add 1/2 tsp crushed cardamom. Mix again. Turn off the flame.
STEP 4.Pour this mawa into a greased tray. Let it set for 1 hour.
STEP 5.Now after 1 hour, again in the same pan take 3/4 cup Mawa, stir it for 1 min on low flame.
STEP 6.Add 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder and mix it properly with Mawa. After 2 mins add 1/2 cup Powdered sugar and again stir it continuously for 3 mins.
STEP 7.Now add 1/2 tsp crushed cardamom. Mix well for 1 min. Then turn off the flame.
STEP 8.Pour this chocolate mixture over the mawa layer. Spread evenly.
STEP 9.Garnish it with finely chopped dry fruits. Gently press them with a spoon.
STEP 10.Let it set for 7-8 hours. After that cut them into equal pieces.
