Ingredients for Chocolate Cake Recipe

  • As required FOR THE SPONGES
  • 225 gram All purpose flour
  • 75 gram Cocoa powder
  • 10 gram Baking powder
  • 20 gram Instant coffee
  • 10 gram Baking soda
  • 3 gram Salt
  • 300 gram Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 10 gram Vanilla extract
  • 180 gram Melted butter
  • 50 gram Yoghurt
  • 150 gram Milk
  • 150 gram Boiling hot water
  • As required FOR THE GANACHE
  • 300 gram Dark chocolate
  • 350 gram Heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Grease two 9-inch tins with butter, place the baking paper on them and dust with some cocoa powder.
  • STEP 1.In a bowl take the dry ingredients and combine well
  • STEP 2.In another bowl, take all the wet ingredients and combine well into a silky mixture
  • STEP 3.Mix both the ingredients together. Divide the batter into two baking tins
  • STEP 4.Bake in a preheated 150 degree celsius oven
  • STEP 5.For the ganache, chop the dark chocolates into tiny pieces. Mix vanilla with heavy cream and salt
  • STEP 6.Mix it with the chopped dark chocolates
  • STEP 7.Take the cake out of the baking tin. Make spread of the chocolate layer
  • STEP 8.Place another layer of cake over it. Cover the entire cake with a chocolate layer.
