A healthy and very tasty chocolate banana Cake originated in America. It is easily prepared from banana, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and dry fruits.
STEP 1.In a blender take 2 bananas and ¾ cup sugar.
STEP 2.Blend to prepare a smooth puree.
STEP 3.Take this banana puree into a large bowl.
STEP 4.Add ½ cup of oil, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tsp of vinegar.
STEP 5.Whisk the mix until everything is well combined.
STEP 6.Place a sieve over the bowl and add 1½ cup of maida, ½ cup of cocoa powder, 1 tsp of baking powder, ¼ tsp of baking soda and ¼ tsp salt.
STEP 7.Sieve everything and mix well, use the cut and fold method for lump free batter.
STEP 8.Add ½ cup of water and mix well.
STEP 9.Prepare a thick consistency cake batter.
STEP 10.Add ¼ cup walnuts and mix gently.
STEP 11.Grease a cake mould and pour the batter in the mould.
STEP 12.Spread 3 tbsp of chocolate chips over it.
STEP 13.Place the cake tray into the preheated oven. Bake the cake at 180 degree celsius or 356 degrees fahrenheit for 40 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
STEP 14.Allow the cake to cool completely.
STEP 15.Cut in pieces and serve on a plate.
