Ingredients for chirer pulao Recipe

  • 66.67 grams Poha
  • As required Peas handfull
  • 0.33 nos Onion finely chopped
  • 0.67 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 0.33 nos carrot diced
  • 0.33 nos Capsicum diced
  • 0.33 nos Potato boiled and cubed
  • As required Salt as per taste
  • 0.33 tsp Lime Juice
  • 0.33 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 0.67 tbsp Oil
  • 0.33 tsp Rye ( mustard seeds)
  • As required Hing a pinch
  • 0.33 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 0.67 nos Cloves
  • 0.33 nos Cardamom
  • 0.33 tbsp Ghee
  • As required Red chilli powder as preferred
  • 0.17 tsp turmeric powder
  • As required Cashews A handfull

Directions: Chirer Pulao Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash the poha and keep in a sieve
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a wok
  • STEP 3.Fry cashews and keep aside
  • STEP 4.Add rye and hing
  • STEP 5.Add cardamom cinnamon and cloves
  • STEP 6.Add chopped onion and saute till onion is cooked a bit
  • STEP 7.Add all veggies except potato
  • STEP 8.Cook till they soften
  • STEP 9.Add turmeric powder
  • STEP 10.Add poha
  • STEP 11.Add salt
  • STEP 12.Add some red chillies powder
  • STEP 13.Mix well
  • STEP 14.Adjust spices
  • STEP 15.Cook the poha covered on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes
  • STEP 16.Add ghee and mix again
  • STEP 17.Cook for 2 minutes on low flame
  • STEP 18.Switch off gas
  • STEP 19.Add coriander leaves and lime juice and mix ..
  • STEP 20.Add cashews and enjoy
