Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the lady's finger, then cut them into thin slices.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix together turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Add the lady's finger slices to the bowl and coat them well with the spice mixture. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the marinated lady's finger slices until they turn crispy and golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
  • STEP 4.In the same pan, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
  • STEP 6.Add the fried lady's finger slices to the pan and mix well with the onion-tomato mixture. Cook for a few more minutes until the flavors blend together.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot as a side dish or snack.
