  • 1/2 Large Crabs
  • 3/4 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 3/4 cloves Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 Thumb Sized Ginger, Minced

  • 1/4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Water

  • STEP 1.Clean the crabs by removing the top shell and gills. Cut the crabs into halves.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add minced garlic, ginger, and chili paste. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add tomato sauce, sugar, soy sauce, and water to the wok. Stir well to combine the ingredients.
  • STEP 4.Add the crab halves to the wok and coat them with the sauce. Cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the crabs are cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with steamed rice or mantou buns.
