  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 Large onions peeled and chopped
  • 6 Cloves garlic peeled and chopped/crushed
  • 500 gram Minced beef
  • 360 milliliter Full bodied red wine
  • 180 milliliter Beef stock hot water plus 2 stock cubes is fine
  • 4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 Red bell peppers chopped
  • 400 milliliter 4 tins chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 4 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoon Hot chilli powder
  • 3 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoon Mixed herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Chopped fresh chilli more if you like it hotter
  • 3 tablespoon Tomato puree/paste
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Chipotle paste
  • 2 Chunks dark chocolate 80 or 90% cocoa
  • 400 gram 2 can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 420 gram 1 can mixed beans drained and rinsed
  • bunch Small bunch chopped fresh coriander
  • As required Cooked rice
  • As required Fresh coriander
  • As required Sour cream
  • As required Chopped fresh chillies
