Ingredients for Chilli Chinese Potatoes Recipe

  • 0.13 kg 1/2 kg
  • 1/4 g 1 piece g
  • 1/2 cups 2 Cups
  • 1/4 cup Capsicum
  • 1/2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • 1/2 pieces 2 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp 2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp 2 tsp
  • 1/2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp 2 tbsp

Directions: Chilli Chinese Potatoes Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly boil the potatoes πŸ₯” by giving only 1 whistle.
  • STEP 2.Keep aside to cool.
  • STEP 3.Now soak the red kashmiri chillies 🌢️ in 1/2 cup water πŸ’§ for about 15_20 mins and grind it don't discard the water 🌊.
  • STEP 4.Add the chilli 🌢️ paste to this water 🌊 and add to it all the other spices and sauces and add the remaining cornflour 🌽 mix it well and keep aside.
  • STEP 5.Now peel the potatoes πŸ₯” and prick them with the fork.
  • STEP 6.Now take a big mixing bowl πŸ₯£ and add 1 tbsp cornflour 🌽 put some salt and black pepper mix it well and add the potatoes πŸ₯” .
  • STEP 7.Stir it well till all the potatoes are coated well with cornflour 🌽.
  • STEP 8.Leave it for 10_12 mins to rest.
  • STEP 9.Now heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the coated potatoes πŸ₯” till golden crispy.
  • STEP 10.Remove it on a kitchen paper πŸ“œ napkin to absorb the excess oil πŸͺ”
  • STEP 11.Now take a non stick pan πŸ₯˜ and heat 1 tbsp oil πŸͺ” and butter and saute garlic πŸ§„ finely chopped.
  • STEP 12.Once it starts leaving the raw smell add chopped onion πŸ§… and saute till it's transparent.
  • STEP 13.Now add to this the spicy cornflour 🌽 mix and stir well.
  • STEP 14.Add the fried potatoes πŸ₯” and mix it well and let it cook on low flame πŸ”₯ for 8_10 mins keep stirring in between.
  • STEP 15.Once cooked you can give the smoky effect.
  • STEP 16.Serve hot πŸ₯΅ as dry snacks.
