  • 1.13 En Chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as needed A Handful Of Curry Leaves
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • 1/2 Dried Red Chillies

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped cabbage, green chillies, and salt. Saute until the cabbage is cooked and tender.
  • STEP 3.Allow the mixture to cool and transfer it to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • STEP 4.In the same pan, heat some more oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and dried red chillies. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 5.Add the blended cabbage mixture to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Remove from heat and let it cool. Serve the chutney as a side dish or a spread.
