Chicken Veg Stew is a light, comfort dish for those monsoon or cold days when we want to just wind up kitchen work with a simple yet tasty and healthy meal. Basically in this recipe radish and potatoes are the two main vegetables used but the choices are plenty to try on. Best served with plain hot rice. # ChickenRecipies #FEM5K

Ingredients for CHICKEN VEG STEW Recipe

  • 1/2 Pieces radish
  • 1/2 Pieces Potatoes
  • 1/2 Pieces medium tomatoes chopped and pureed
  • 1/2 Tsps tb sp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 Tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 100 g chicken
  • 1/2 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp meat masala
  • A Stem spring onions
  • A Stem coriander leaves
  • As Required Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric pwd

Directions: Chicken Veg Stew Recipe

  • STEP 1.Slice the radish , potatoes into half inch thickness.
  • STEP 2.Chop tomatoes. Slice onions.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in cooker
  • STEP 4.Temper with fenugreek seeds
  • STEP 5.Add sliced onions and fry lightly
  • STEP 6.Add chicken, salt, haldi, meat masala, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder and fry.
  • STEP 7.Add in radish and potatoes and fry for about 2 minutes uses.
  • STEP 8.Add warm water till it covers the chicken.
  • STEP 9.Put the lid of cooker and wait for it to give 6-7 whistles.
  • STEP 10.Open the lid once it cools.
  • STEP 11.Sprinkle chopped spring onions and coriander leaves.
  • STEP 12.Serve with plain rice and cucumber and onion rings.
