Ingredients for Chicken Roast Recipe

  • 100 g chicken
  • 1/2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 0.17 Tsp red chilli powder
  • 0.17 Tsp coriander powder
  • 0.17 Tsp cumin powder
  • 0.17 Tsp pepper powder
  • 0.17 Tsp mixed herbs
  • 0.33 Tsp lemon juice
  • 0.33 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 0.17 Tsp salt
  • 16.67 g carrot
  • 13.33 g beans
  • 25 g potatoes
  • 16.67 g onions
  • A Bunch Mint leaves
  • 0.17 Pieces Lemon

Directions: Chicken Roast Recipe

  • STEP 1.Clean the whole chicken thoroughly
  • STEP 2.Pat it dry with a kitchen towel
  • STEP 3.Into a bowl add and mix melted butter, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, mixed herbs, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt.
  • STEP 4.Apply this marinade to the chicken inside out very nicely.
  • STEP 5.Take the mint leaves and 1 lemon cut into half and stuff it into the chicken cavity.
  • STEP 6.Tie the legs of the bird together and pull the string towards the neck and tie it along to secure it well.
  • STEP 7.Keep this overnight in the fridge or for 3-4 hours.
  • STEP 8.Next roughly chop carrots, beans, potatoes, onions and apply the marinade to these vegetables too.
  • STEP 9.Preheat the oven.
  • STEP 10.Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish and the vegetables beside the chicken.
  • STEP 11.Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • STEP 12.Bake it in the preheated oven at 200°C for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 20 minutes.
  • STEP 13.Take it out of the oven and place it on the table and enjoy a hearty meal.
