Ingredients for Chicken Paturi Recipe

  • 166.67 Pieces grams boneless chicken cut into small
  • 1.33 Tbsp tablespoons coconut paste
  • 0.33 Tbsp tablespoon mustard paste
  • 0.33 Tbsp tablespoon poppy paste
  • 0.67 Tbsp tablespoons whipped yogurt
  • 0.67 Tbsp tablespoons ginger garlic green chilli paste
  • To Taste Salt
  • 0.17 Tsp 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.33 Tbsp tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 0.17 Cup Mustard oil
  • 0.67 Tbsp tablespoons chopped coriander leaves (optional)
  • 0.67 Pieces large banana leaf
  • 0.33 As Required Thread

Directions: Chicken Paturi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix all the ingredients except banana leaves in a bowl and marinate for 1 hour.
  • STEP 2.After 1 hour, fold the marinated chicken in banana leaves and tie it well with thread.
  • STEP 3.Heat a little mustard oil in a frying pan and cook with the chicken folded in banana leaves. Reduce heat and cook for about 30 minutes.
  • STEP 4.When the chicken is cooked and the leaves are fried, lower it on both sides and serve with hot rice.
