There is a mushroom chicken dish in traditional Chinese cooking. It is made with bone-in skin-on chicken, chopped to bite-size, then braised in a soy sauce based sauce with dried shiitake mushrooms. Easy, quick and famous chinese simple chicken recipe. Add the mushrooms to the same pan and cook, stirring regularly until soft. Add the cream, chicken stock and Dijon mustard and stir to combine. That's all.

Ingredients for Chicken Mushroom Recipe

  • 500 gram Chicken
  • 225 gram Ginger
  • 110 gram brown fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1.50 cup Water
  • 2 teaspoon rice wine
  • 2 teaspoon Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic chopped
  • 2 No.s Green Onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tapioca Starch
  • As required Cooking Oil

Directions: Chicken Mushroom Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Add rice wine to the chicken, then add soy sauce and mix well. Then add tapioca starch and stir. Set aside for 15-30 minutes

step 2

  • STEP 1.Take a wok and heat some oil. Then stir fry garlic and ginger for a minute. Add marinated chicken and wait for it to turn light brown then remove immediately do not overcook.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Add more cooking oil and stir fry mushrooms. Add hoisin sauce, sesame oil and water. Mix for a minute and then cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Now add starch solution to thicken the sauce stir a few times and add green onions. Now serve.
