  • 0.17 Large Onion, Diced
  • 1/2 Cloves garlic, smashed and chopped
  • 0.33 teaspoon Minced Fresh Ginger
  • 0.08 cup Grated carrot
  • 0.17 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 0.17 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 0.08 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 0.33 Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 0.33 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1/2 Strips orange zest, plus juice of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup Homemade or store bought low sodium chicken stock
  • 0.83 Cardamom pods crushed
  • 0.67 Whole cloves
  • 0.33 stick Cinnamon
  • 0.33 Bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup Basmati rice, washed until water is clear then soaked in water to cover for 45 minutes
  • 0.33 cup Safflower oil
  • 0.08 cup Whole blanched almonds
  • 0.08 cup Golden Raisins
