1/2 kg Chicken
as required Almond
1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
as required Bay leaf
as required reen cardomon as required
as required Cinnamon stick
as required Black peppercorn
as required Cloves
1.50 tablespoon Oil
as required Onion
as required inger as required
as required arlic cloves as required
as required reen chilly as required
as required Salt as required
1 teaspoon Red chilly flakes
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
1/4 cup Curd
Directions: Chicken In Badami Khus Khus Gravy Recipe
STEP 1.Wash chicken and put it in a bowl.
STEP 2.Take ginger, garlic and green chilly in a grinder and grind until smooth paste.
STEP 3.Add ginger garlic paste, one teaspoon salt, one teaspoon red chilly powder in it. Mix well and keep aside for 30 minutes.
STEP 4.Dry roast bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and peppercorns in a pan and grind it in to a fine powder.
STEP 5.Grind almonds and poppy seeds to a smooth paste. Reserve some almonds for garnishing.
STEP 6.Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
STEP 7.Add onions and soute till lightly brown.
STEP 8.Add marinated chicken and mix well. Cover and cook for five minutes.
STEP 9.Add almond paste, salt and dry spices in it. Mix well.
STEP 10.Cover and cook for five minutes.
STEP 11.Add yogurt and mix well. Cover and cook until done.
STEP 12.It's ready. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve with naan or chapati.
