Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Remove half of the onions and set aside.
  • STEP 4.Add marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it turns brown on all sides.
  • STEP 5.Add tomato puree, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Cover the pan and let the chicken cook in the masala for about 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Add the reserved onions and cook for another 5 minutes.
