  • 166.67 g chicken
  • 0.33 Tbsp ginger and garlic paste use store bought if you do not want to make it fresh
  • 0.17 Cup curd
  • 0.33 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.17 Tbsp red chili powder
  • 0.17 Tbsp cumin powder
  • 0.33 Tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 Tbsp mustard oil
  • 1.33 Pieces Onions
  • 0.33 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.67 Pieces Potatoes
  • 1 Pieces Eggs
  • As Required pc green chilly
  • 0.33 Tsp garam masala powder
  • To Taste salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Cups water
  • A Stalk pc cinnamon stick
  • 0.33 Pieces pc bayleaf
  • 1.33 Pieces Peppercorn
  • 0.67 Pieces Cardamom
  • 0.33 Tsp cumin seeds

  • STEP 1.Slice the onions and chop the chilies
  • STEP 2.Chop ginger and garlic and prepare a paste for the marinade
  • STEP 3.Beat the curd
  • STEP 4.Marinade the chicken with all the ingredients mentioned under "For the Marinade" under Ingredients
  • STEP 5.Allow to rest for at least 15 minutes
  • STEP 6.Boil potatoes and cut in halves
  • STEP 7.Boil the eggs and de-shell them
  • STEP 8.Rub turmeric powder on the potatoes and eggs
  • STEP 9.Saute the eggs & the potatoes till the sides have a golden color, keep aside
  • STEP 10.Heat oil in a wok
  • STEP 11.Add in the whole spices mentioned under "Whole Spices for Tempering"
  • STEP 12.Add in the onions and fry till the onions turn brown
  • STEP 13.Add the chicken with the marinade
  • STEP 14.On a high flame, cook the chicken for 10 minutes
  • STEP 15.Add in the chopped chilies and salt, and stir for a couple of minutes
  • STEP 16.Add water and bring to a boil
  • STEP 17.Add in the potatoes, fried eggs and sugar
  • STEP 18.Cook covered for another 15 minutes
  • STEP 19.Check seasonings and adjust if required
  • STEP 20.Serve hot with rice or roti
