Ingredients for Chhole Kulche Recipe

  • 1 cup white peas / safed matar
  • 2 cup Water
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • As required FOR JALJEERA CHUTNEY
  • 1 stalk pudina
  • 1 No.s black cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon saunf
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon aamchur
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • As required OTHER INGREDIENTS
  • 3 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 2 piece Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • As required FOR GARNISHING
  • 2 No.s Onion
  • 2 No.s Tomato
  • As required A few coriander leaves
  • 1 No.s green chilli
  • 1/4 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch chaat masala

Directions: Chhole Kulche Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak the matar overnight.
  • STEP 2.Then pressure cook 1 cup white peas, 2 cup water and ½ tsp salt.
  • STEP 3.Now in a kadai heat 3 tsp oil and saute 1 inch ginger
  • STEP 4.Now saute spices
  • STEP 5.Add pressure cooked white peas and mix well
  • STEP 6.Mash slightly
  • STEP 7.Now add in prepared jaljeera chutney and mix well
  • STEP 8.Boil for 5 minutes
  • STEP 9.Garnish with onion, tomato, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli, lemon and chaat masala.
  • STEP 10.Finally, serve matar kulcha recipe with plain kulcha or naan.
