Ingredients for Chethi Pakodi Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Wet rice flour
  • 5 gram Green chilies
  • 2.50 gram Ginger
  • 2 No.s Dry red chilies
  • 15 gram Chana dal
  • 12.50 gram White Butter
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 liter Water fro kneading
  • 1/4 liter Oil For Frying

Directions: Chethi Pakodi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Rinse and soak chana dal for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.In a mixer grinder add 10gm of green chilies, 5gm of ginger, 2 dry red chilies, and make a paste.
  • STEP 3.In a mixing bowl add 1 cup of rice flour, the prepared chili paste, soaked chana dal, chopped curry leaves, salt , white butter and mix.
  • STEP 4.Add water in small quantities to prepare a dough.
  • STEP 5.Now take a small quantity and prepare a roll shape, make the rolls of entire dough.
  • STEP 6.In a pot heat oil and fry the flattened rolls, remove the rolls when partially fried.
  • STEP 7.Let it cool and fry again for extra crisp.
