  • 1 pieces Pumpkin flowers
  • 25 g Brittania grated cheese
  • 1.50 tsp Grated apple
  • 1.50 tsp Chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 2.50 tsp Gram flour
  • 1/2 tsp Rice bran oil
  • 1/2 tsp Nigella seeds
  • a pinch Salt

  • STEP 1.To prepare the cheesy pumpkin flower fritters, firstly wash the pumpkin flowers in running water and pat dry for some time
  • STEP 2.Meanwhile cut out the lower part which contains the stalk , a bottom and a center petals yellow in colour. To prepare the stuffing for cheesy pumpkin flower fritters, in a bowl add chopped onion, grated cheese cubes, grated apple and pepper powder and mix it thoroughly.
  • STEP 3.Add salt as per taste, Now prepare a batter of gram flour , add 1tsp of Nigella seeds and sprinkle oil. Keep it aside.
  • STEP 4.Step 4 Heat 1tsp oil in a non stick pan / tawa on a medium flame. Now take one flower at a time, fill the pumpkin flower with the prepared stuffing of grated cheese cubes, and grated apple, dip in the batter, shake of excess batter and place on the non stick pan.
  • STEP 5.Shallow fry . Once both sides are cooked for 2mins or till crispy, flip the other side till golden brown. Serve the cheesy apple pumkin flowers stuffed fritters for breakfast with ketchup or chutney
