  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Water As Required

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves. Saute until the seeds splutter.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  • STEP 6.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  • STEP 7.Add tamarind pulp, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 8.Add water and bring the mixture to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Add the fried fish pieces and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  • STEP 10.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
