Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak rice and chana dal separately for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaf.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saut�� until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and spices. Cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add soaked rice, chana dal, and water. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  • STEP 6.Let the pressure release naturally. Fluff the pulao with a fork and serve hot.
