STEP 1.Clean and remove the seeds and chavini from jackfruit. Cut the chulas into two equal pieces.
Cooking Directions
STEP 1.Take a bowl and 3tbsp maida, 1tbsp rice flour, 1tsp semolina, 2tbsp sugar, 2 pinch turmeric powder, a pinch of salt and mix well.
STEP 2.Gradually add some water (approx ¾ cup)and mix well to make the batter.
STEP 3.Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the jackfruit pieces in the batter and gently put it to oil. Fry it in batches. Make sure to fry it in medium flame.
STEP 4.When both sides are done frying, transfer it to a paper towel. Chakka pori is ready now.

STEP 1.Wheat flour can be used instead of maida.
