This Cauliflower curry is made with cottage cheese(paneer), green peas and cauliflower. This is a completely vegetarian curry. This vegetarian curry made with fresh winter cauliflower and green peas is delicious served with rice or roti.

Ingredients for Cauliflower cottage cheese green peas curry(Fulkopi paneer karaisutir tarkari) Recipe

  • 87.50 grams cottage cheese(paneer)
  • 1/4 nos Cauliflower
  • 0.19 cup green peas
  • 0-0.06 cup tomato paste (paste of tomatoes)
  • 0.13 tbsp Ginger-green chilli paste
  • 0.13 cup Whisked curd
  • 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon Of ghee
  • 0.06 cup mustard oil
  • As required For tempering:-
  • 1/2 nos dry red chillies
  • 0-1/4 nos Bay leaves
  • 1/4 tsp whole cumin seeds
  • 0-1/4 nos Green cardamoms
  • 0-1/4 nos Cloves
  • 1/4 nos " cinnamon

Directions: Cauliflower Cottage Cheese Green Peas Curry(fulkopi Paneer Karaisutir Tarkari) Recipe

  • STEP 1.First, heat oil in a pan, add little salt, turmeric and chilli powder, stir a little, cut the cottage cheese into cubes and fry it lightly.take it out and keep it aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat a little more oil in that oil, fry the cauliflower with a little salt and turmeric. Keep it aside for future use.
  • STEP 3.Heat a little more oil in that pan ,add the tempering,and stir it for 2-3 seconds.
  • STEP 4.Then add tomato paste and stir it for two -three minutes. Add ginger- green chilli paste and stir it for 1-2 minutes. After that add turmeric, cumin and kashmiri red chilli powder with a little bit of lukewarm water and mix them well. Then add whisked curd and mix it well with the spices.
  • STEP 5.When oil separate from the spices add green peas and fried cauliflower and mix them well with the spices.
  • STEP 6.Lastly add the fried paneer, salt to taste and sugar to balance the flavor ,lukewarm water as required, mix it properly, cover it and keep it for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
  • STEP 7.when the gravy becomes slightly thick, add garam masala powder, ghee, mix it well .then turn off the flame, cover it for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 8.serve hot with steam rice or roti.
