Cashew curry is a main course dish loaded with cashews & cream and has the perfect balance of spices. Cashews were brought to Goa, India, by the Portuguese during the 16th century. Goa is famous for its high-quality cashews all over the world. From then till now, we have learnt to use cashews in various ways and include them as a royal addition to our dishes. This cashew curry is made of roasted cashews ground and mixed with spicy curry that is prepared with tomato and onion base. It is one of the most famous North Indian cuisines, especially a favourite of the Punjabis. It tastes best when served hot with an Indian thali or beside roti/chapati/paratha/naan. The combination of crunchy roasted cashew nuts and spicy sauce is delectable. Mostly, it is served with naan or butter roti in restaurants, but it can also be enjoyed with puri, chapati, or even bhatura.
