#BPF Appam is fav.dish in my family.I have made innovative appam.In winter we get lots of carrots in market so carrot is my innovation ingredient.It increases nutritional value and tasteof my dish .Moreover its beautiful colour makes my creation inviting.Enjoy it.

Ingredients for Carrot stuffed Suji Appam innovative Recipe

  • 1 Cups Suji
  • 0.33 Cup 1 cup thick curd
  • 0.67 As Required salt
  • A Pinch Baking soda
  • 1.33 Tbsp Oil
  • 0.33 Cup Carrot grated
  • As Required salt
  • 0.33 Cups Fresh coconut grated
  • 0.67 As Required Cumin seeds
  • As Required Mustard seeds
  • As Required Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.67 Tsp Urad daal
  • 0.33 Tsp Green chilli paste
  • 0.67 Tsp Oil
  • 1.33 As Required salt
  • 1.67 As Required Red chilli powder
  • 1.33 Tsp m Fresh curd

Directions: Carrot Stuffed Suji Appam Innovative Recipe

  • STEP 1.1)Method_Collect all ingredients for appam
  • STEP 2.2)Take suji in bowl,add curd ,salt mix well,now add little water to make batter,mix well ,cover it.
  • STEP 3.3)Let rest the batter for 20 minutes.
  • STEP 4.4)Grate the carrot add salt ,mix well it will become wet,spread on cotton cloth till batter is resting .
  • STEP 5.5)Now add red chilli powder in carrot ,mix well .
  • STEP 6.6)Now greese the appe pan with oil,heat it ,on medium flame,add little water in batter if it becomes thick,add soda bi carb mix well.
  • STEP 7.7)Pour batter at bottom in appepatr,put the stuffing,pour batter again over it to cover the stuffing,cover the appepatr.
  • STEP 8.8)After 5 minutes check it,now turn it n slow the flame,cook for 5 minute ,check it with tooth pic ,if it's clean take it out.
  • STEP 9.9)Chutney method_ get ingredients of chutney collected
  • STEP 10.10)Take grated coconut ,curd,salt,Sugar in bowl,mix well.
  • STEP 11.11)Now heat oil,add mustard seeds,cumin seeds when splutters,slow the flame,add udad dalal,saute till becomes golden,add ginger garlic paste,green chilli paste,saute for next minute,now pour it over the coconut curd mixture,mix it neatly,add cut corriander.
  • STEP 12.12)serve appam with chutney! Really awesome taste with carrot.
  • STEP 13.Enjoy it
