Ingredients for Carne En Su Jugo Recipe

  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 2 inch lbs chuck roast cut into 1/2 s
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 6 tomatillos
  • 3 serrano peppers if you like it spicy, add 2 serrano peppers
  • 1/2 bunch Cilantro
  • 6 cup water divided
  • 2 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 2 cup pinto beans cooked
  • As required Cilantro For Garnish
  • As required Lime wedges optional
  • As required Radishes optional

Directions: Carne En Su Jugo Recipe

  • STEP 1.To a blender add onion,garlic,tomatillos,serrano peppers,cilantro and 2 cups of water
  • STEP 2.In a large pot cook the bacon and set it aside.
  • STEP 3.Season the beef with salt and pepper
  • STEP 4.Add the beef and tomatillos in the pot. Return the bacon and add water and beef bouillon to it.
  • STEP 5.Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Add 3 to 4 pinto beans and garnish with cilantro, radish and lime.
