Ingredients for Capsicum Thoran Recipe

  • 1 Sliced capsicum
  • 1 Chopped onion medium size
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut
  • 4 green chilies slit from middle
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • As required Curry leaves
  • 2 Dry red chilies
  • 1 teaspoon Rice
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

  • STEP 1.Shred the coconut

  • STEP 2.Chop the onion

  • STEP 3.Heat the cooking vessel, add capsicum , 1cup chopped onion,green chilies, shredded coconut

step 4

  • STEP 4.Cover and cook for 3 mins

step 5

  • STEP 5.Head 2tbsp oil in a frying oil

step 6

  • STEP 6.Add 1tsp mustard seeds, curry leaves, ½ chopped onions, add dry red chilies

step 7

  • STEP 7.Add 1tsp rice and let them pop

step 8

  • STEP 8.Add the cooked capsicum from the cooking vessel to the frying pan

step 9

  • STEP 9.Let it cook for 5mins

step 10

  • STEP 10.Serve with rice or bread
