  • 0.91 kilogram hen meat
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1.50 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 liter Water
  • 2 No.s cloves of garlic , sliced
  • 1 liter Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup potatoes cubes
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1 cup auyama cubes
  • 1/2 cup angel hair noodles
  • 1 sprig Parsley

Directions: Caldo De Gallina Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. remove skin and bone of the chicken and chop it into spoon-sized pieces.

step 2

  • STEP 1. discard the extra fat and skin.

step 3

  • STEP 1. season the chicken with oregano and salt.

step 4

  • STEP 1. heat some oil in a pot over medium flame and add chicken to it.

step 5

  • STEP 1. pour in the water, garlic and vegetable broth to the pot and bring it to boil.

step 6

  • STEP 1. cook over medium flame until the chicken or hen becomes tender.

step 7

  • STEP 1. stir in the celery, potatoes and auyama.

step 8

  • STEP 1. cook this for 5 minutes and add noodles and parsley to the pot.

step 9

  • STEP 1. cook this until noodles are cooked through. Give it a nice stir.

step 10

  • STEP 1. discard the bones and season with some salt
