Ingredients for Cabbage Ambado/ Cabbage Vada Recipe
1/2 cups Shredded or finely chopped cabbage
As required green chillies
As required Coriander Leaves - handful chopped A Handful
1/2 tsp roughly pounded coriander seeds
1/2 sprigs Curry leaves(kadi patta)
0.19 gram Besan(Flour)
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
As required Salt to taste
As required Oil for deep frying
Directions: Cabbage Ambado/ Cabbage Vada Recipe
STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, chopped cabbage, crushed coriander seeds, red chilli powder and salt.
Mix well and keep it aside for 10-15 mins.
Then add besan and rice flour.
Knead well to mix and avoid using water.
If the dough is dry, just sprinkle little water and make a stiff dough.(Dough should be such that it should be soft yet should hold when made into small balls)
Heat oil for deep frying.
Make lemon size balls of the cabbage dough.
Press gently between the palms and deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden on both sides.
STEP 2.Made about 12 vadas
