Ingredients for Buttermilk Chicken... Recipe

  • 250 gm Chicken curry cut
  • 1 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1/2 g Whole Garam Masala ...a)
  • 1.50 g b)
  • 1/4 tsp c)
  • 1/2 Inch d)
  • 1/2 As Required e)
  • 1/2 Cup med sized onion chopped finely
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Haldi powder
  • As Required Salt
  • 1/2 cup For Buttermilk...a)
  • 1/2 tsp b)
  • 1/4 tsp c)
  • 1/4 tsp d)
  • 1 tsp e)
  • 1/4 tsp f)

Directions: Buttermilk Chicken... Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a wok , add oil , heat it .
  • STEP 2.Add Whole Garam Masala , saute it for a minute .
  • STEP 3.In goes onion , stir fry it until pink .
  • STEP 4.Add chicken pcs now , stir fry it for a minute .
  • STEP 5.Now add ginger garlic paste , stir fry it until chicken turns a lil brown .
  • STEP 6.Add in red chilli powder , haldi powder & salt , mix it well . Sprinkle lil water to avoid burning . Stir fry it until oil has oozed out .
  • STEP 7.In the mean time , take a mixing jar , add all the ingredients of buttermilk one by one , add 1/2 cup water , blend it thoroughly .
  • STEP 8.Add buttermilk in the chicken , mix it well , add more water ( 1.5 cup ) , give a boil .
  • STEP 9.Cook it for 5 minutes . Lower the flame , cover it with the lid , cook it until gravy becomes saucy . Stir in between only once .
  • STEP 10.Turn off the flame , open the lid after 5 minutes .
  • STEP 11.Take out in a serving bowl , garnish it with chopped dhania patta .
  • STEP 12.Can be served along with any Pulao...
