Ingredients for Butter Pav Bhaji Mumbai Style Recipe

  • 1/5 cup small chopped potatoes
  • 0.15 cup Chopped french beans
  • 1/5 cup Chopped cauliflower
  • 1/5 cup gren peas
  • 1/5 tbsp Salt
  • 0.80 cup water
  • 0.80 tbsp Oil
  • 1/5 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 0.40 Pieces midium size finely chopped onion
  • 1/10 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/5 Pieces big size finely chopped green capsicum
  • 0.80 Pieces midium size finely chopped tomatoes
  • To Taste salt as per taste
  • 0.30 tbsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 0.60 tbsp Everest pav bhaji masala
  • 0.80 tbsp Fresh butter
  • 0.15 cup boiled vegetables water
  • 1/5 tbsp Garam masala
  • 0.60 tbsp 3-4 tbsp
  • 0.40 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/5 tsp Butter
  • A Pinch Pinch pav bhajji masala
  • 1/5 tsp Finely chopped green coriander
  • As Required For Ganishing Chopped onion
  • As Required For Ganishing Lemon wedges
  • As Required For Ganishing Butter
  • As Required For Ganishing Chopped green coriander leaves

Directions: Butter Pav Bhaji Mumbai Style Recipe

  • STEP 1.First add potatoes, french beans, cauliflower, green peas, salt and water in a pressure cooker, cover the cooker and boil on medium flame of gas at 2 whistles.
  • STEP 2.Now when the vegetables are cooked, drain the water in a bowl and set aside. Now mash all the vegetables with a little water from the masher. Put these vegetables aside.
  • STEP 3.Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and simmer, then add chopped onions and saut on medium gas for 4 to 5 minutes till onion becomes light brown. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook on medium gas for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Now add chopped capsicum and cook on medium gas for 2 minutes. Then add chopped tomatoes and salt and cook till the tomatoes become soft. Then mash the tomatoes with a masher. Now cook till the oil is released.
  • STEP 5.Now let's spice it up. For this, add kashmiri red chilly powder and paav bhaji masala and mix it. Cook till oil is released. Now add butter and mix everything.
  • STEP 6.Now add boiled vegetables, mix and mash with a masher. Then add garam masala and boiled vegetables water and mix everything, cover and cook on slow gas for 10 to 15 minutes with lid on. Then add green coriander, lemon juice, mix and turn off the gas.
  • STEP 7.Now spread the butter in a pan and add paav bhaji masala and green coriander on the pan and fry on gas medium.
  • STEP 8.Now our Yummy Butter Pav Bhaji is ready. Serve it hot. Then garnish with green coriander leaves, butter, onion and lemon slices.
