Ingredients for Budae Jjigae Aka Army Base Stew Recipe
1 ounce Dang myeon or a large handful
1/4 cup Korean rice cakes
1/2 tablespoon Gochujang korean chile paste
1/4 tablespoon Gochukaru korean chile flakes
1/4 tablespoon Sugar
1/4 tablespoon Soy sauce
1/4 tablespoon Mirin or rice wine
3/4 Cloves ground garlic
1/4 can Spam sliced
2 piece Links hot dogs and/or sausages, cut into bite sized
1/4 cup Kimchi with juice, preferably old and mature kimchi
1/4 Package tofu drained and cubed
1/4 cup Crown daisy or spinach optional
1/4 bunch Enoki mushrooms optional
1/4 Package instant noodle noodles only, do not use soup base
1 Slices processed cheese
1 cup 1 litre seafood stock more if necessary **see notes below
1/2 Green onions sliced
