Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Rinse the black glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • STEP 2.Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 3.Drain the rice and transfer it to a pot. Add water and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 4.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pot, heat the coconut milk and palm sugar until the sugar dissolves.
