Ingredients for Brown rice Dosa Recipe

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • As required Urad dal ½ cup
  • 2 tablespoons Channa dal
  • 1 tablespoon methi seeds
  • As required Butter while making dosa
  • As required salt to taste

Directions: Brown Rice Dosa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash brown rice and add water. Let it soak overnight in a vessel.
  • STEP 2.In another vessel add urad dal, methi seeds and channa dal. Wash and add water. Soak it overnight.
  • STEP 3.In morning grind brown rice adding minimum water so that rice gets grind to paste. Similarly with minimal water grind urad dal mixture to form a paste, Mix both the mixtures. Add salt. Mix it well. Cover with a plate and keep it warm place for 4 hours.
  • STEP 4.The batter will turn fluffy. Take some portion in a bowl add water to form runny batter but thick one. Make dosa on hot dosa tawa. Add butter as per your taste. You can use oil or ghee too. Cover with lid for few minutes. Roast dosa to golden brown on both sides
  • STEP 5.Crispy and healthy dosa are ready.
  • STEP 6.Serve with sambhar, coconut chutney and Molaga podi.
  • STEP 7.Enjoy this delicious dish for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
