  • 0.03 cup Broken wheat
  • 1/5 cup grated jaggery
  • 0.60 nos Ghee tbs
  • As required Grated cashew and badam
  • As required One dates
  • As required Few saffron strands

  • STEP 4.Broken Wheat 1/4 cup
  • STEP 5.Grated jaggery 2 cup
  • STEP 6.Ghee 6 tbs
  • STEP 7.Grated cashew and badam
  • STEP 8.One dates
  • STEP 9.Pinch of saffron
  • STEP 10.Method :
  • STEP 11.Slightly fry the broken wheat with 1 tbs ghee. Rinse and soak it for 30 minutes. Add the grated jaggery in a pan with 1/4 cup water. Boil until the syrup comes to sticky consistency. ( not string consistency, just sticky ). Boil 1/2 ltre fresh cream milk with one and half cup water. Add the soaked broken wheat. Stir continuously until the broken wheat cooked well. Do it in medium flame. Then reduce the flame fully, cover the pan and cook for five minutes. Mix it in between. Add grated one tsp cashew , badam and add little dates ( cut it into very small pieces ). Mix and add the jaggery syrup ( filter it then add ) and mix well. Cook again for three to four minutes in low flame. Add 2tbs ghee and few pinch saffron. Mix and cook for two minutes. Then add 3 tbs ghee and mix and again cook for 2 minutes. The prasad is ready.
