A tea snack bread pakoda recipe prepared from bread stuffed with potatoes, peas, ginger paste and seasoning ingredients. Served with chutney or ketchup.
STEP 1.In a pan, add 1 teaspoon oil. To this add, ginger paste, 1 sprig curry leaves, 1-2 chopped green chili.
STEP 2.Now turn off the flame.
STEP 3.To the same pan, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing and garam masala.
STEP 4.Now add mashed potatoesto this and some salt.
STEP 5.You can also add some coriander leaves and lemon juice.
STEP 6.The stuffing is ready.
STEP 7.Spread it over the bread and cover it with another bread. Cut it diagonally.
STEP 8.Now take a different bowl, to this add ¾ cup besan, red chilli powder, carom seeds, turmeric powder, salt and cornstarch. Add water and mix the batter.
STEP 9.Now heat oil in a kadhai. Dip the stuffed bread in this batter and cover it from all the sides. And then dip it in the kadhai, at an optimum temperature to fry.
STEP 10.Fry until golden and crispy. Serve hot.
