Ingredients for Bread Pakoda Recipe

  • 3 No.s Potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 cup Peas
  • As required Curry leaves a few
  • As required Oil for cooking
  • 0.13 teaspoon Hing
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt
  • As required A few Coriander leaves for serving
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup Besan
  • 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds
  • 3 tablespoon Cornstarch

Directions: Bread Pakoda Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pan, add 1 teaspoon oil. To this add, ginger paste, 1 sprig curry leaves, 1-2 chopped green chili.
  • STEP 2.Now turn off the flame.
  • STEP 3.To the same pan, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing and garam masala.
  • STEP 4.Now add mashed potatoesto this and some salt.
  • STEP 5.You can also add some coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  • STEP 6.The stuffing is ready.
  • STEP 7.Spread it over the bread and cover it with another bread. Cut it diagonally.
  • STEP 8.Now take a different bowl, to this add ¾ cup besan, red chilli powder, carom seeds, turmeric powder, salt and cornstarch. Add water and mix the batter.
  • STEP 9.Now heat oil in a kadhai. Dip the stuffed bread in this batter and cover it from all the sides. And then dip it in the kadhai, at an optimum temperature to fry.
  • STEP 10.Fry until golden and crispy. Serve hot.
