Ingredients for Bread Fritters Recipe

  • 3.33 Cup Leftover bread slices
  • 0.08 Cup Curd (Dahi)
  • 0.17 Cup grated carrot
  • 0.17 Cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
  • 0.33 Tsp green chilli paste
  • 0.67 Tbsp chopped coriander
  • To Taste Salt
  • 0.33 Cup Oil for greasing and deep - frying
  • 0.33 Cups reen chutney and tomato ketchup

Directions: Bread Fritters Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Remove the crust of the bread slices and crumble them into small pieces with your fingers and put them in a deep bowl.
  • STEP 2.2. Add the curds and mix very well using your fingers.
  • STEP 3.3. Add the carrot, besan, green chilli paste,coriander and salt and mix well.
  • STEP 4.4. Add approx. 1/4 cup of water and mix well or till the mixture binds well. 5. Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions. 6. Grace your palms with a little oil and shape a portion into a round ball in between your palms. Press it lightly in the centre to form a slide depression and put in hot oil in a deep non stick kadai. 7. Shape three more portions and put them in the oil and deep fry all 4 at a time in the batch on a medium flame till they turn golden brown colour from all the sides. 8. Repeat step 6 to make 12 more balls in three more batches. Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside. Some immediately with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
