Ol is one of the most ancient vegetables. It has many medicinal properties. In addition to healing hemorrhoids, it also purifies the blood. In combination with yogurt it is served with rice as a delicious term.
1 Pieces Red Chilli ( for tarka ) as much required
1/2 g pinch Hin
1/2 Tbsp table spoon ginger paste
1/4 Tbsp table spoon turmeric
To Taste Mirchi powder accordingly
To Taste Salt
As Required water
Directions: Boromar "doi Ol"... Recipe
STEP 1.Cut the Ol into small pisces and steamed it on pressure cooker.Drain the water.
STEP 2.Heat kadai and add musturd oil.Add black musturd seed, Sada Jira,Bay leaf and Red chilli for tadka.Fry all these very well.when smell came out add steamed ol in it .fry until it becomes golden brown.
STEP 3.Add hing, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, in it.
STEP 4.Add salt and sugar according to taste.add some water.cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 5.Add green chilli and some water.cook for another 5 minutes.
STEP 6.When the mixture become thick add sweet curd and mix very well.
STEP 7.Rest for 5 minutes in low flame.
STEP 8.Serve to taste.
