  • STEP 1.In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of boiled rice powder with water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Cover the bowl with a lid and let the batter ferment overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick griddle or dosa tawa on medium heat and grease it lightly with oil.
  • STEP 4.Pour a ladleful of the fermented batter onto the center of the griddle and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 5.Drizzle some oil around the edges of the dosa and cook until it turns golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 6.Flip the dosa and cook for another minute on the other side.
  • STEP 7.Remove the dosa from the griddle and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
