STEP 2.In a mixing bowl add 2 cups of maida, ½ cup rava, 1tsp turmeric powder and mix water in small quantities to prepare a soft dough.
STEP 3.Pour oil over the dough, immersing the dough completely and let it rest for 1 hour.
STEP 4.In a saucepan add 1tbsp of ghee, 1 cup of cooked chana dal and 1 cup of jaggery.
STEP 5.Once the jaggery is melted add 1tsp of cardamom powder and nutmeg powder, combine everything well and let it cool.
STEP 6.Grease some ghee on your palms and prepare small balls from the prepared jaggery paste and keep aside.
STEP 7.Now at a surface, take a banana leaf(plastic is also used) and grease some ghee over it, take a small ball from the dough and flatten.
STEP 8.Inside flatten dough add the prepared jaggery ball and cover with the edges to form a ball and seal.
STEP 9.Again flatten the dough and prepare a tortilla(chapati) like shape, make sure the jaggery paste is not exploding out from the dough.
STEP 10.Now in a pan add some ghee and cook the prepared bobbatlu on both sides, once the bobbatlu is brown on both sides, remove from the pan.
STEP 11.For serving put the bobbatlu in a plate and serve with ghee, butter and jaggery.
