Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Start by washing the bitter gourd and removing the seeds. Cut it into thin slices.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. Then, add the bitter gourd slices and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.In a blender, grind together grated coconut, ginger, garlic, green chilies, and some water to make a smooth paste.
  • STEP 5.Add this coconut paste to the pan and mix well. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste.
