This Pancit Bihon Recipe uses “Bihon” or rice sticks mixed with pork, chicken, and vegetables. This dish is always served during Fiesta, birthday parties, and other special occasions.

Ingredients for Bihon Guisado Recipe

  • 1 No.s Bee hon pack
  • 250 gram Shrimp
  • 350 gram Chinese pork
  • 1 No.s Carrot
  • 3 No.s Mushrooms dried
  • 2 No.s Green Onions
  • 1 No.s Celery
  • 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce
  • As required Oil
  • 400 gram Bamboo shoots
  • 1 cup Fresh bean sprout
  • 1 No.s Yellow Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine
  • As required Cilantro

Directions: Bihon Guisado Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Stir fry yellow onions in a wok for 30 seconds. Then add shrimp and cook till orange in colour.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Add sliced carrot and celery. Add mushrooms and bomboo shoots to cook for 2 minutes.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Add 1 tbsp of wine, fish sauce, curry powder, sliced pork and finally bee hon. Make sure you mix all the ingredients evenly.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Add green onions and bean sprouts at the end. Cook for 5 minutes and let the sauces be absorbed.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Serve on a plate with cilantro.
